Elizabeth Banks was tripped by ‘Cocaine Bear’ on stage on the 2023 Academy Awards.
The actress-turned-director took to the stage to current her award for Greatest Visible Results on the Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (12.03.23) and was joined by an individual in an animal costume who represented the lead junkie in his new movie “Cocaine Bear” – however nearly fell to the ground throughout the skit.
After narrowly avoiding an embarrassing fall, she instructed the viewers, “‘You hit the bull’s eye … Oh, my God, he tripped me.”
He then went on to say, “I just lately directed the film ‘Cocaine Bear.’ With out visible results, that is what the bear would appear like.”
The bear continued to bother her throughout his speech prompting the actress to quip: “It is terrifying, cease it. No director desires to take care of it. What are you doing?
