‘Solely Fools and Horses’ actress Kate Saunders has died on the age of 62.

The TV star turned author and journalist was greatest identified for taking part in policewoman Sandra within the BBC sitcom alongside Del Boy star David Jason and Rodney Trotter actor Nicholas Lyndhurst.

Kate’s broadcast appearances included BBC Radio 4’s ‘Lady’s Hour’, ‘Begin the Week’ and ‘Kaleidoscope’, and in 1990 she was a visitor on the primary episode of the BBC’s ‘Have I Received Information for You’.

He wrote within the Unbiased newspaper in 2014 about collaborating in “Solely Fools”: “The plot of my episode is easy: Rodney picked up a policewoman named Sandra and invited her house to the well-known Peckham flat, failing to understand which is crammed stuffed with stolen items.

“I used to be Sandra, in a revolting blue shirt, and I snogged Nicholas Lyndhurst!”
